The San Juan River, often referred to as the “Juan” by locals, is a legend within the flyfishing world and is known as one of the most prolific and robust trout habitats of any tailwater fishery in North America. With over 20,000 fish per mile, the fishing is incredible with lunkers hiding at every turn.
The “Juan Time Lodge” is located along the banks of the San Juan river just below the quality waters section of this incredible river. This newly constructed house is a short 3 hour drive from Albuquerque, 45 minutes south of Durango and just 15 minutes east of Farmington, NM., approximately a mile and a half downstream from the campground bridge. Navajo Lake is a short 10 minute drive from the house for lots of summer fun and warm water fishing opportunities.
The house has four bedrooms with 7 real beds (four queen/doubles and three singles) that will sleep as many as 11 in comfort. The house is handicap accessible with extra wide doors and an accessible shower. The open kitchen and living area with a dining table for 8 and another 4 at the island is perfect for family dinners or a rousing game of cards. The wood burning fireplace in the living room sits next to a 52” flat screen perfect for game day with the boys. Out the back door sits an incredible 60 ft. deck, with an outdoor kitchen and fireplace overlooking the river only a few yards away.
The house is outfitted with every amenity you can imagine and ready for a relaxing, comfortable stay. The two car garage is extra deep to get your long bed and your boat out of the weather during your stay.
Come and enjoy the San Juan in the comfort of a fine home, with your own space, a private river and all the space for you and your crew. The house is perfect for small corporate meetings, strategic planning sessions or a family get away. Bring your wife and a few other couples for a great get away weekend. The girls will appreciate it as much as you will!
